On Valentine’s Day I had the pleasure of attending The Hay-Adams Annual Love Brunch for wedding planners. A few weeks ago I received the most gorgeous invitation in the mail calligraphied by Angela Welch, owner of Pen and Pauper. The thick letterpress invite designed by Bella Figura got me super excited to attend this special event.
The Love Brunch took place on a gorgeous day at the Top of The Hay, a stunning event space overlooking the White House.
The romantic hues of pink, cold and creams were the perfect palette for the event’s theme. The talented Barbara Hamilton, of The Ociana Group, created the jaw-dropping florals for the event.
One of my favorite touches was the roses and cherry blossom arrangements that were suspended from the ceiling.
I LOVED the texture and look of the linen and chair covers that were provided by Wildflower Linen.
The delicious menu of lobster, filet and hazelnut soufflé was wonderfully presented and served by the amazing Hay-Adams staff.
Each attendee took home a delicious cupcake made by Kendall’s Cakes.
Elan Artists provided the background music and set the tone for the event.
I had an amazing time catching up with a few planner friends and meeting new friends at the event. Thank you Alison Okobi, Director of Catering at the Hay, for being such a wonderful host!
I hope your Valentine’s Day was filled with lots of love! Congratulations to all of the recently engaged couples!
