Earlier this year the Geomyra Lewis Weddings and Events team had the pleasure of coordinating Cassi and John’s big day! The couple’s black and white themed winter wedding was simply stunning! With heavy snow storms leading up to their big day, the GLWE team took extra precautions to be prepared. The ceremony and reception was held in my hometown of Alexandria, Virginia. The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s grandfather at The George Washington Masonic National Memorial.
By nightfall, the steps of the temple were lined with paper lanterns that lit the path. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the guests were shuttled The Carlyle Club for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. The Carlyle Club is a favorite vendor of ours as it is made for entertaining. The Spectrum Band took the stage and kept the guests on the dance floor all night long! The sparkly wedding cake was created by Hollin Hall Pastry Shop. The simple white florals were provided by DaVinci Florists. The bride’s mother who is an interior designer designed the tables to include touches of sleek black ribbon on each table. After hours of eating, drinking and dancing, it was time for our couple and guests to head to the after party. How adorable is this image of our couple heading to their getaway car?! The GLWE team truly enjoyed being a part of Cassi and John’s big day! We wish them many years of wedded bliss!
